After working for nine years in the Americas, I joined the British Council as the Regional Safeguarding Manager for the Americas & EU.
I am a lawyer specialist in child rights. I have a Master's degree in International Decentralized Cooperation: Peace and Development and a Doctorate in Cooperation, Integration and Conflict in Contemporary International Society. For nine years I have worked in the international context implementing social projects for children's rights fulfillment with UNICEF in Costa Rica and for six years I was the Country Director for Save the Children in both Ecuador and Spain.
Since 2011 I am responsible for implementing the British Council's Corporate Safeguarding Policy across the Americas & EU with 40 countries under my responsibility.
